This Privacy Policy explains how data is processed and protected when you use Pushup Up (“App”). Please read this policy carefully to understand our practices regarding your data.

The terms “user” and “you” refer to a person who uses the Pushup Up App or contacts onemorethink.

1. DATA WE PROCESS

1.1 Our Commitment to Privacy

Pushup Up is designed so that we do not operate our own server-side database of your workout data. We do not upload, view, or store your workout data on our own servers.

Your workout data — including session records, set details, and your progress through the training program — is stored locally on your device and, if you are signed in to iCloud, is also automatically synced to your own personal iCloud account through Apple’s CloudKit service. This is Apple’s infrastructure, tied to your own Apple ID, not a server we operate. See Section 1.5 for detail.

The App’s camera is used only for real-time automatic rep counting. No video, photo, or audio is ever recorded, saved, or transmitted — see Section 1.2. On TrueDepth-capable devices specifically, face-tracking data is involved — see Section 1.3 for a dedicated explanation of exactly how that data is used.

We use two limited, well-known third-party services: Firebase Analytics (Google) for basic, automatically-collected app usage statistics, and Google AdMob to display non-personalized advertising within the App. Both are described in detail below. We do not use any other third-party advertising SDKs, tracking tools, or analytics services.

1.2 Camera Data and Automatic Rep Counting

Pushup Up’s core feature requires access to your device’s camera to automatically count your push-up repetitions.

Regarding this data:

• The App uses your device’s front camera to measure your distance from the camera in real time. On devices that support Apple’s TrueDepth camera, this uses Apple’s ARKit face-tracking technology — see Section 1.3 for a dedicated explanation of that specific data. On other supported devices, a standard camera-based (Vision framework) fallback is used instead.
• No video, photo, or audio is ever recorded, saved, or transmitted. The camera feed is processed only in real time, entirely on your device, to calculate a distance measurement used to count repetitions — it is never written to storage, uploaded, or accessible to us in any form.
